Verbs and Adverbs

WALT: Find the difference between a verb and a adverb

A verb are action and doing words, They tell you what type of action you should be doing like for example: Mix The bowl. The word mix is a verb because it's telling you what to do.For adverbs are like verbs but it's explaining the way to use the verb like for example: Mix the bowl slowly. when you see the example it tells you to the verb and the adverb, The verb is the word mix because it's telling you to do a type of action and the adverb is the word slowly because it's telling you how to mix in the bowl.
Adverbs and verbs are usually used in procedural writing like receipts and manuals.
