Seeing is believing story

This is a image about a town of ratties and mouses and in this image was about the town of the animals having a race and as you can see the rest of the mouse and ratties are having fun supporting and cheering them on.

Is seeing, Believing?

Is seeing really believing. When I see things I believe it but only if it's in real life. When thing are on photo I have really think if it's really. There are things that I don't have to think about if it's real or not because might be photos that I take that I am for sure aware that I made it.
Today we have been doing this for cybersmarts and what it is talking about is alternating photos to look different.
What photos do you think is real and which ones are fake?
Here is my presentation to present my work:

Every Child has Hopes and Dreams

Why do you think we invited Everyday Theatre in today to work with us?
I think this is a lesson to teach kids that when there are troubled stuff happening at home then it's alright to ask for help.

Why do you think the team used a computer game to work with us?
In my perspective I think it's because children these days play on there computer more and it seemed really fun.
Who could you ask for help if you ever felt like Jack and knew someone who needed help support?

What was the hardest part of the game and why?
The hardest part of the game was to freeze because I kept on laughing and it was hard to stay still.

What did you enjoy most about being a Games Master for a morning?
It was really fun and I really enjoyed being able to play.

How did we work as a team to win this game?
We participated and made sure that everyone was following the rules and trying to keep our lives.

What could we take from today to use in other classroom activities in the future?
We could use and tech other kids about situations like this.

What kinds of secrets are okay to break?
You can tell like who you like and stuff like that.

Reading - Conflict

WALA: conflicts and how people react to conflicts.

Today we have been doing reading and learning about conflict. We have been given a statement or situation in which we will react with conflict in, like for example: When someone steals my pencil or money, we have to right our absolute honesty and what I wrote was: I'll hit them and give them attitude.

I would feel mad and annoyed even it's as small as my pencil but there's a more simpler way of using my pencil and it doesn't involve stealing my pencil
Here's a picture of my work:
(it's a bit Blurry but at least you can see I have done work:)

In the hard materials group we make stuff with wood and we got to pick what were making we had to pick a specific thing to since the way we are cutting the wood is different.
I have chosen to do a dresser but with a mirror but I don't really want to add the mirror because I don't really have anything to do with it.

MATHS!

Here is the my presentation that I have been working on and it is about working out strategies and being able to tell if it's part unknown or whole unknown.
When a strategy is part unknown then it means that only part of the question is what you need to find and when it's whole unknown then it's the whole number that you need to find out.
Here is my presentation that I have created:

Here is only three of the slides that I have been working on because the strategies are one the side of these and the rest of the strategys I wrote in my book.

Bacteria

Bacteria is a topic that we have been working on and we have been working on a presentation that will be used in my blog today that will be talking about the acronym of Mrs Gren, Mrs Gren is a acronym that goes:
M- Movement
R- Respiration
S- Sensitivity

G- Growth
R- Reproduction
E- Excrution
N- Nutrition

Mrs Gren is the acronym that we have used to help us with bacteria, bacteria is something people think is bad but most bacteria is good, like for example - did you know that 90% of the cells that make your body are made of bacteria. Here is my presentation that I have made that includes the details that I have in Bacteria:

The Silent One

This is my summary about the silent one and I think it's an amazing story and it's interesting to read, Here is my summary and here is the link to google drawing if you can not really see the words.

Technology

IALT: blog about what I have done at technology

Today at technology we have been designing shapes that we will be using in our 3d designs of our games that we have chosen to make 3d and y game that I have chosen to make 3d is tic tac toe or else known as naughts and crosses. Technology is fun and boring and what I enjoy is being able to create fun and amazing stuff and what I find challenging is that in graphics your thinking skills are used every time your there. Our teacher in graphics at technology is Miss Ferguson.

Technology is tiring and hard working and I think that the only thing I would do next time is listen and try not talking because I find it distracting and I don't really get work done but I still try to get it done the next time I'm there.
Here is our 3d designs that we have created and we have been using a website called tinkercad were we use to make our 3d objects were we then send it to Miss Ferguson and then she prints it on the 3d printer:

These are three pieces were you can then choose out of the three and pick which one you want to play with. There can only be 2 players with tic tac toe and hopefully my 3d game will be done by next week and I will finally get to play it with my besties.

Teens build amazing car chart

Today I have read a document that tell me about these tennagers that have created a car that can run for long for little bit of gas. I think this is an amazing job that they have done and if I had the opportunity to do this I would.

LI - Identifying bias in text

Fill in the chart below to identify bias in the text you have just read.
POV - point of view
What might an alternative point of view be?

Person in text
Their POV
Alternative POV
Dellasa students
I think they were thinking about ways they can travel farer for little amount of Gas or Electricity
I think it’s a great Idea but I think the struggle is the design and finding the way they can travel faster and farer.
A use to be car race

With a partner look on line and find texts that have conflicting points of view. One text that tells the reader fluoride in drinking water is bad for you, and one that says it is good.

Add the links to this document.

Manaiakalani Questioner

Today the student leaders were finishing of there Manaiakalani questioner. The questioner was about Learn, create, share and also what we use our device for in learning. The questions were interesting because they had some interesting questions for us and one of the questions that I was reading, I didn't really understand. This questionnaires were for us to see what type of things we learn on our netbooks and what type of affects we have on us. Here is my insert of my submission of my Manaikani questioners.

NYLD 2019

Today I attended the NYLD 2019 where student councils / leaders attend it from different places and schools. I got to see some familiar faces and some were new ones. I tried to get to know some people, but it was kind off hard because we had to stay in our seats. There were some students in the back were I started some conversations with.
We learnt many things and we got booklets which were very helpful and gave everyone there how to grow in becoming a student leader.

HAVE FUN -
Don't wait for other people to start having fun. Other people will have more fun if you decide to have fun.
BE A LEADER -
What this means is that you can show people how to behave by how you behave. That's what being a leader is.
LISTEN UP -
Leading others often start with listening to others. Make sure you listen up today so you don't miss out on being inspired and entertained by some incredible korero.
DON'T STEAL STUFF -
Stealing is bad but only when... nah - never steal.
There were  seven speakers and host, there was suppose to be eight but one couldn't make it. They host and speakers were:
- Ronnie Taulafo
- Christian Gallen
- Dr Lehan Stemmet
- Kings
Liz Alexander
- Hana Tapiata
-Phil Baker
These are my three favourite speakers.
Ronnie who was the host for what now and came from the island of Samoa. he old us about his life journey from being born in Samoa to going to Australia and then going back to Samoa and having to learn the proper language of Samoa.

Dr Lehan Stemmet is an amazing person because now he is one of my role models. He was a high achieving student at his school and had so many badges, that he had to get a second jacket and he is inspiring and hopefully someday you will meet him.

Christian Gallen is the funniest person I've meet and he would non stop talking with excitement on stage. He may have been sweating but he carried and from that I knew he had a strong and energized personality. He taught us that good student leaders are good at having conversations and talking and being able to be confident with who they talk with, but he also taught us that leaders are also good at listening and letting others share what's on there mind and see if there are anything we can help with.

My highlight of the day was seeing Kings perform, which was an amazing experience and I never thought I would ever have that experience and hopefully I have much more experiences like that.
