Thinking about Bias

IALT: blog about Bias.

Today we were learning about bias, We got shown a picture of a the nutrition's facts from 2 different M&M's. We had to say what we noticed, saw, felt and wonder about the things that we given to us on the piece of paper.

We got another piece of paper which then gave a statement on the first paper above.
The source was: Mrs Sweet Tooth.
In this statement, it was talking about how amazing M&M's are. Some people agreed because and some people disagreed because they had better treats. There was also a part where it was talking about how M&M's are healthy because it has no trans fat in it, and because how colourful it is show that shows that it's healthy. I disagreed with that statement because even if M&M's had no trans fat it also had sugars, sodium's and carbohydrates.

We got a chart which then we used to depend how good it was and it was bias.
If there was something with high bias in it it means it had less evidence and information about something and so then we didn't understand and something with low bias is what we used to tell if it has a high amount of  information and evidence to to what it's talking about.
