Mathamatics

Image result for MathsToday I have been learning how to roundup and compensate a number in a multiplication question to make the number more simple and even to multiply. We have been multiplying one digit numbers to 3 digit numbers, when we learnt how to multiply these two different type of digit numbers we learnt how to roundup a number to the nearest tens which then makes the number even and more easier to multiply.

Image result for maths symbolsWhen you round up a number like 365 to the nearest ten which is 370 you have to always know how much you have added to make the number to the nearest ten, for example to found out how to make 365 to the nearest tens we had to round up the number and add 5 to make the number to the nearest tens. when you round up in the end you have to always round down. So for example when you add numbers to make the number more easier to deal with you always have to take away the extra number you have added to the equation.

I really enjoy using the rounding up and rounding down method because I found it a quicker and simple way to solve my equations. The thing I found challenging is still have to multiply the 3 digit number when you round up and round down the number.
